Cosmos Space Festival Committee

The Cosmos Space Festival Committee is a non-profit volunteer organization committed to organizing events in the community of Cosmos. Our fundraising efforts and donations help us organize, promote, and execute the annual summer festival in celebration of the astronaunts' first landing on the moon. The festival started in 1969 and is held on the third weekend of July.  The annual get-together features Minn-E-Rods, softball tournament, volleyball tournament, antique tractor pull, meals in the park, a Space Festival parade, fireworks, pancake breakfast, pork chop dinner, church in the park, music entertainment, crafters, pedal tractor pull, disc golf tournament, laser tag, bean bag tournament, city wide garage sales, drawings, and many other activites.

The Cosmos Space Festival Committee consists of dedicated volunteers who help plan, organize, and execute the three day festival.

Space Festival Committee is a great way to connect with people in our community and build new friendships. Our volunteer efforts help give back to the community and make our small town festival a success. Membership is free and we welcome members of all ages.
